This was the trip that got me hooked on traveling to the Off-road Parks.  Let me set the scene...

This was September 2017, Labor Day weekend, and that storm pictured was the remnants of Hurricane Harvey (Click Here to learn more), The whole area received a good amount of rain, between 2" to 4".  This made off-roading extremely dicey, due to the steep trails and cliffs.  WOW, this is what I enjoyed, The challenge of trying to get around this park.  This would not be for beginners for sure due to the weather conditions.

That said, if you are looking for such a challenge, it does not get any better than middle Tennessee during a rain event.

This park is exceptional, trails are in decent shape, even though all vehicle types are allowed in the park, from Jeeps and trucks to UTVs and atvs.  Many of you will know, Jeeps and trucks rut trails like crazy most of the time due to their high clearance, compared to UTVs.

Ended up staying at a hotel in Gatlinburg, due to heavy rains.  Very interesting parking and getting around Gatlinburg...
