This actually was the first "Park" I had ever been to and it was fairly close to home. My Brother & I made the trek down to Marseilles, Illinois not expecting much, other than a couple hours of riding through the flat Upper Midwest woods. It was February and this was a "get out of the house kind of trip"... This Park is not what i was expecting...
Setting the scene... It was the middle of February, about 60 degrees and frost on the ground (Melting) Which added to the thrill, You could say. It was slick, probably the most fun i've had at a Off-road Park. The park offers a wide variety of trails for beginners to intermediate. A portion of the park was extremely muddy, to the point of having a hard time getting anywhere, was fun though.
This park defiantly scratched the itch to get outdoors during the winter months. Greatly appreciated that they were open! Great location, near Joliet, Ill. fairly close to major metro areas and easy to get to, just off I-80.
Moderately Hilly
Great views
Had to pull ourselves up the hills, very slick
Got a little dicey, everyone was ok!
Very muddy conditions

This trip, I did not camp, it was February and too cold.
